Everyone who has attended a Great Banquet, Awakening or other 3-day Cursillo modeled weekend is invited to join us in this Celebration. Dear Communities,

           We are going to have a national gathering and celebration on September 16-18, 2010 to celebrate 20 years of Great Banquets across the country. It will be held in Decatur, Illinois. We hope to have representatives from all the Communities present if possible. We will have a time of worship, workshops, and celebration for what God has worked through the Great Banquet over the past twenty years.

            Over the years we have grown to 30 Great Banquet Communities and 9 Awakening Communities. Over 50,000 people have participated in the Great Banquet and Awakening experiences. We want to gather representatives from as many Communities as possible in Sept. 2010.

            We are calling this Celebration “Keys to the Kingdom” and we will be addressing the Keys to Kingdom living and how they manifest themselves through the Great Banquets and Awakenings. 

The Keys to the Kingdom we will definitely discuss are:
            1. Unity in Variety
            2. Worship
            3. Obedience
            4. Prayer
            5. Healing
            6. Action
            7. Grace
            8. Power

            We will have workshops on various topics. Some will be directed toward the Banquet and Awakening and some will be more generic in nature for anyone who comes.

            We are planning on workshops:
            1. Banquet Orientation 
            2. Awakening Orientation and relationship with the Banquet 
            3. Prison Ministry
            4. Team Selection and Building Leadership 
            5. Work of the Holy Spirit
            6.  Intercessory Prayer 
            7. Building the 4th Day Community 
            8. Communications 
            9. Spiritual Warfare
            10. Music and Worship 

             Our purpose is to connect our Communities and stimulate synergy “cross pollination” of ideas and blending our strengths together. We want to encourage and strengthen leadership in our communities as well as celebrate our growth together as a family.

            I encourage each Community to select representatives to come.  This gathering is open to all who have attended a Great Banquet.  So, let’s all get together as we celebrate our past, learn from one another, and look to the future.
